Dr. Strong on Isaiah 42:5

The Strong's Concordance is an amazing study tool, but it is riddled with false traditions of men that Dr. James Strong believed in and promoted in many of his Hebrew and Greek definitions, along with a lot of sloppy conclusions.

While researching the Hebrew word "‘am" that is translated at "nations" (and "people" in Isaiah 42:5) in Dr. Strong's concordance, I read the following rhetorical question:

"Could it be that in Isaiah 42:5 all mankind are conceived to be the privileged recipients of divine revelation and blessing:

Is 42:5 "Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:"

Dr. Strong made a lot of conclusions and asked rhetorical questions without even checking his own concordance. The beasts are included in the verse, also. The people upon the earth and those who walk therein are given (1) breath and (2) spirit.

Who has breath? (Strong's #05397, "n@shamah")

Ge 7:21 ¶ And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
22 All in whose nostrils was the breath <05397> <07307> of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.

Who has spirit? (Strong's #07307, "ruwach")

Ge 7:14 They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath <07307> of life.

Do the animals "walk therein" upon the earth? The Hebrew word "walk" in Isaiah 42:5 is "halak", Strong's #01980.

Le 11:20 All fowls that creep, going <01980> upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.
Le 11:27 And whatsoever goeth <01980> upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go <01980> on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even.

Dr. Strong asks, "Could it be?". No, it couldn't.
